Two scales, one face
How PSL 1-8 maps to face rating levels
All three modes report on a 0-10 face rating scale. The fast mode converts its on-device PSL geometry measurement (0-8) onto that scale, the roast scores 0-10 directly (showing the overall score only), and the deep scan scores eight categories 0-10. The classic PSL scale is stricter and more compressed than a casual rating, so here is how PSL levels correspond to face rating levels. Read this as an approximate guide, not an exact conversion.

What scale does each face rating mode use?
All three modes report on a 0-10 scale, where 5 is roughly average and 8+ is rare. The fast mode converts its on-device PSL geometry measurement (0-8) onto that scale, the roast shows the overall score only and leads with the roast text, and the deep scan scores eight categories 0-10 directly. Can the face rating infer my gender, age, or health?
It is not designed to. The face rating prompt avoids identity claims and does not infer gender, ethnicity, health, personality, intelligence, or exact age. Skin comments describe visible presentation only and are not medical diagnoses.
Why did two photos of me get different face ratings?
Lighting, lens distance, camera height, angle, expression, posture, grooming, and styling all change how features appear, and AI output can vary too. For a more consistent face rating, use similar photo conditions; for exploration, change one factor at a time.
Can I share my face rating result?
